The research is very clear. Over 88 studies of since the late 80's demonstrate that EMDR is highly effective in treating all sorts of mental complaints, from depression to anxiety to (most famously) PTSD, and even marriage stress, chronic pain, and athletic performance enhancement. While no one knows precisely how EMDR works on a brain-science level, there are some theories that have also been explored, with some more substantiated than others. I will not be quoting the res
